Wendell August Forge Amish Country Store - On the outskirts of Berlin, OH, right in the middle of Ohio's beautiful Amish Country, is our largest store in the historic Wendell Barn. Visit our location, featuring handcrafted gifts, seasonal craftsmen showcases, and the world's largest buggy.

Helping Hands Quilt Shop - stocked with quilts, quilting materials, and plenty of household staples. If you come in on the first or last Tuesday and Wednesday of the month, you can even watch the quilt making process!


Colonial Homestead Antiques - Ten minutes from Berlin in Millersburg, Ohio, Colonial Homestead Antiques has over 6,000 antique hand tools, a working 1800’s gunsmith, and a wood shop. A trip to this one-of-a-kind store is a must for antique collectors! Tip: Bring cash. Credit cards are not accepted at Colonial Homestead Antiques.

With a wide array of canned goods and homegrown seasonal produce and a huge assortment of flowers, all of your senses will be on full alert with the colors, aromas and fresh tastes of the season. Then there is the farm store, featuring USA made wooden toys, tack, bird seed, leather goods.

The Farm at Walnut Creek Visitors can pet pigs, rabbits, goats, cows, a horse, and more! You can even hold the baby rabbits and goats (if they cooperate). Want to take home a new pet? Visitors can purchase a baby bunny! And take a buggy ride.


Restaurants in and around Berlin

Boyd & Wurthmann Restaurant still serves a 75¢ cup of coffee and is one of the oldest established businesses in Berlin, Ohio. Many locals equate the Boyd & Wurthmann restaurant with the Berlin they once knew: a small, one-horse town. The restaurant was a gathering place for locals to catch up on the latest news over a cup of coffee, discuss business deals while trying the daily special or just stop by for one of Boyd & Wurthmann's famous homemade pies.

Berlin Farmstead Restaurant - Known for Broasted and Pan-fried chicken, real mashed potatoes, homemade breads, pies and cookies. A locals' gathering place.

To the West- Mohican Valley State Park 

Malabar Farm- Working farm originally owned and operated by Pulitzer Prize winner Louis Bromfield. Tour the mansion, or take part in one of the programs, like maple sugaring, spring plowing, or an old-fashioned barn dance. Or just wander the hiking trails in the beautiful park.

Historic Loudonville - In Loudonville, spend part of your day in a canoe splashing down the sun-flecked Mohican River. At Mohican State Park spread a picnic in the shadow of the imposing, rustic covered bridge. Hike the trails that criss-cross the mountainous forest park. Climb the fire tower and see the world.

Landoll's Mohican Castle - Tour the American castle that was built one room at a time. The wood and stone from the castle were taken from the local area. 

Tree Frog Canopy Tours - Zip through the trees on Northern Ohio's only zipline canopy tour. This three hour tour takes you flying through the trees on ziplines and sky bridges.

Pine Run Grist Mill - This recently restored grist mill once operated in the 1820s. Enjoy stepping back in time with regular events, like a colonial trade fair, or walk their beautiful trails.


Cleo Redd Fisher Museum - This museum is deidcated to the preservation of local history, and has a wide variety of exhibits focusing on how life has changed in the Mohican Valley over time.
